For our first evening, we will meet Peter Sandberg.
What if the second half of life is not about slowing down – but about learning to see differently?
Around the age of 50, Peter Sandberg decided to start painting.
Not because it had been his lifelong profession. It hadn’t.
He simply started.
Today, his work is exhibited and shown through Galleri Agardh & Tornvall in Stockholm.
But painting is only one part of Peter’s story.
Entrepreneur. Innovation nerd. Painter. Illustrator. Storyteller. Poet.
Peter seems remarkably unwilling to accept the idea that at a certain point in life we should know exactly who we are – and then remain that person.
That is why he feels like the perfect guest for the first Playing the Second Half Live.
His own reflections on painting revolve around learning the art of seeing – looking beyond the obvious and discovering something deeper.
Perhaps that is also part of what playing the second half is about.
Seeing possibilities we previously missed.
Allowing ourselves to become beginners again.
Remaining curious.
Creating something we never imagined we would create.
And perhaps discovering that some of the most interesting chapters of our lives have not yet been written.
And we will not only talk about Peter’s art.
We will be surrounded by it.
